How to Submit Employer Payments

As an employer, you are responsible for submitting your payments in a timely and correct manner. There are multiple options to pay child support electronically:

ExpertPay

You can submit payment through the website: www.expertpay.com. Click on EMPLOYER or OBLIGOR link, create a user ID and a password and submit a payment. To pay using this website you will need:

  • Employee Name
  • Social Security Number
  • Case Number

If you have any questions, you may contact Expert Pay Customer Service at 1-800-403-0879

Automated Clearing House Network

If you plan to remit electronically through your banks’ Automated Clearing House Network (ACH), please call the New Jersey Family Support Payment Center at 800-559-3772 or email [email protected] to begin this process. We accept payments in CCD+ or CTX format. You will need to email an Excel spreadsheet to [email protected] with the following information:

  • Employee Name
  • Social Security Number
  • Case Number

Once received, NJFSPC will review the submission to confirm it is accurate.

Check

Employers may send one check for all employees, but must include each employee’s name, case number and social security number, as well as the payment amount to be credited to each account. Checks should be made payable to the NJFSPC and mailed to the New Jersey Family Support Payment Center at P.O. Box 4880, Trenton, NJ 08650-4880. Employers may also remit payments via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). To set up your company’s account, you may call 800-559-3772 or email [email protected]. Checks are also accepted via ExpertPay at www.expertpay.com, a secure online payment application system where you can make a one-time or recurring payment directly from your bank account to the NJFSPC.

If you have to stop a payment, you must contact NJFSPC customer service at 1-800-559-3772 before contacting your financial institution to stop payment. If you do not contact NJFSPC, your check may bounce, and you may be prevented from making future payments with checks.
